The SSL ( Secure Socket Layer ) is a communications protocol that ensures security for servers and Internet users. If your website has an SSL certificate, it means that the data (credit card, personal data, etc.) and information transmitted through your website are protected and cannot be intercepted, read or manipulated by third parties. In other words, the exchange of data between a server and a user is encrypted because the information is encrypted using algorithms. Moreover, the certificate is also responsible for authenticating
